I've wanted a compact Mac for a while, but whom ever it was that said they'd try and get me one never got back. And if you want to go all out on old stuff. I have a Osborne, still should work I fired it up a few years ago.

I remember the MAC SE/30. My elementary school had like 60 of them. I think it was what led me to hate Apples(both the food and computer).
I also had a Zenith, but it was a VCR, which was probably more advanced than your laptop(even if it was 25 years old).

A toaster is more advanced than that laptop!

I had a hell of a time finding a version of DOS that would run properly on it. (3.3)

The Mac is running system 6.0.8, which it shipped with. Believe it or not, it was an e-mail server for the place my dad works until 1997.

May I recommend www.zipzoomfly.com ? I used them to build my comp. I have a AMD 64 3500 and a MSI K8N Neo2 mobo zipzoom has cpu/mobo combo deals aswell as some really good deals. Be sure to check it out. but NEVER use tigerdirect. Way too expensive.

TigerDirect has great prices on somethings. Some are high, but I find most reasonable.

Tiger Direct is also famous for ripping people off in rebates. ZipZoomFly (GoogleGear) and Newegg are both highly reputable.

Pratley UK built my computer, I don't know their website, but my PC is great, and super fast, it can run almost any game released up to now, flawlessly.

I would upgrade my computer if I had the money. My family's pc is:
1.7 Ghz 2100 AMD XP processor
512 mb ram
80 gb hard drive
32 mb video :(
running XP

My personal pc:
a whopping 166 Mhz processor
64 mb ram
2 gb hard drive
2 mb video
running 95

as you can see, the worst part of my family pc is the video card and on my pc the whole thing is the worst part.

Edit: I would be using my pc to surf the web, but I get my internet wireless and I don't have a reciver for my old one

Isn't 166Mhz slow? Mine is a 2.8Ghz AMD Athlon Processor, and runs even the most demanding games like UT2004 and Halo flawlessly.
