yeah, i guess it can't hurt. i'm just running low on generally all of my supplies. i'm running out of wire, damn near all out of solder, and my desk space is way too small to work efficiently. the only thing i do have in abundance is all the tiny screws that i've saved from when i began this project and hot glue

Well that sucks. I had to stop my YAP64 because I fried my only spare N64.

getting the supplies isn't going to be hard. my dad has huge rolls of solder he can bring home, and i can get the wire from an ace hardware store. as for the desk space, i have a big space i can build one with wood, but i have no lumber to build one.

i built better mounting brackets for my portable. these are much smaller and sturdier, and it's made of one piece of metal. sorry, no pictures
i also bought some primary wire from home depot, and presto! my power issue was fixed. i knew it had to be the wires
i relocated the power plug using this wire, and everything worked fine.

I had the same problem with the wires. I was using some ribbon cable and the thing didn't power on so I go some power supply wire I had and presto it worked.

still, no pics, but i installed the cart slot and n64 into the case. as i predicted, it wouldn't fit, so i really screwed up the case, but it will be covered once i build the cart slot cover. as for the n64 board, i was able to tightly fit it inside, using hot glue. it may sound stupid, noobish(which it was) and not very good, but i used the hot glue in a controlled manner. i
basically, i laid the n64 board in the case, and put hot glue around the sides of the board on the case, and before it dried, i put some on the side of the n64 board, which was like soldering the n64 to the case.

this is my first time doing this, so don't flame me for using hot glue. i tried to use the glue professionally, and so far it's a very tight hold

well, i was testing out my n64, and it worked. wanted to try a diff. game, and now it won't do anything but put out a blank signal. i've tested everything possible' i think it may be fried, even though i didn't do a damn thing to it. any suggestions?

Some games use more pins than others. If a wire came off on your relocation, some games will work but not others. Check all the wires.

You must have a loose connection somewhere. Make there is nothing on the board, or any wires loose, before turning it back on. You wouldn't want it to really fry. :(
