I think Senior Member should be for active members who have been here for 4 or 5 years. If they just send a request to whoever is in charge of status'.

Or, do what I plan on doing when I get my "portabilizer" title: Make a screen capture of my current avatar with the "Senior Member" text under it, then make it my avatar, so it looks like I have two titles.

Why has this turned into a big argument about the merits of a Senior Member title when we were only here to congratulate LOB and Eagle on becoming mods. Since were on the topic of the senior member title I don't think post count should be a large part of the title.

I made no mention about spamy posts at all or anyone in specific, you all assumed a lot from that small little bit I said. I was just simply saying our requirements for the title at the moment seem a bit silly to me. I think it should be more of a time based thing then a post count based thing.
