SOLD: NOACp (portable NES)

Post by Life of Brian »

Up for sale is my newest NES portable as seen in this worklog. It is completely wired up and ready to go... with the exception of the Super Joy 3. I managed to fry it a while back, but I know exactly what I did. If you send me a new one along with $150 I can get the finished portable to you within a week.

Why so expensive? Your old noacp was $80 with the NOAC in it.

Because this one is much nicer and more durably built. I sold the first one at a loss - $80 didn't quite cover the cost to make it.

It's not an AEI Comp screen - I got it off of eBay for about $60. All it said on it was "Zate".

Ah, okay. I thought I remembered you saying it was an AEI in your build thread. My mistake. :o

You're thinking of Rekarp. He was going to use one in his NOACp, but then realized that the noac wasn't good enough. He has a nice article on his website on how to hack it down small! You should check it out.
