Re: Birthday thread
I always thought you were older.
I would almost rather not know the ages of people, one time I got owned on a GP32X forum, turns out it was a 12 year old. I would have rather not had the blow to my image.
Happy Birthday! Good plan staying away from cars, bikes can do most everything a car does.

Except travel 21 miles in a half hour. I hate people from big cities who have never lived in a rural area, and say that bikes>cars. They've never been extremely hungry with no food in the house, and had to ride a bike 6 miles to the nearest store.palmertech wrote:I always thought you were older.![]()

Heh, I can do 26mph on a flat road, and I have hit 34 going down a bridge.
And the nearest store for me is about 2 miles. Still a decent distance.
Also, keep pre-packaged food around for situations like that. Cheezits and drumsticks ice cream do it for me.

Nice call on the license thing, same here. No reason, no need, not convenient enough(yet).
Happy Birthday! Oh, and I'm 10 days older that you!

Re: Birthday thread
Wal-Mart is about 3 miles away from me and I walk over to it when I want some food, I enjoy walking. I really hate riding bikes, I used to be in it and would take 10-20 mile trips, not anymore though.

Re: Birthday thread
Biking and taking the bus is all fine and dandy and I do it on a regular basis (Living in Austin rocks). But having a car is probably the greatest freedom you will ever experience. Bonus if you have 4x4 cause you can truly go anywhere.
Anyways. Happy Bday Game!

Re: Birthday thread

I'm sure my feelings on the whole bike/car thing have been established before, so I'll spare you my thoughts.
Happy birthday!
