has anyone every used these?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

I don't know of anyone personally. They're up on woot today, so there's pretty active discussion on their forums of them. http://www.woot.com/Forums/ViewPost.aspx?PostID=3156193" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; For the price, though, there are a lot better screens available.
This post brought to you by David Duchovny's glorious nipples.

you could put a port into a portable, and then have a switch to turn off the regular screen. it would be great for playing in bed. as for using a pair instead of a screen, bad idea.

Or you could just build all or your portables with the normal 3 av outputs. There are some of those glasses that just have av input rather than just being for ipods.

Geez, I wish I had known about that, very cheap price for a HMD. I would've picked one up.
