i have no heatsinking/fans
i have no battery charger
i have no PSone screen
i have but only 28 gauge wire for power, so i have no wire for power
i do have money, but only get paid on friday
i've got most of the electrical wiring done, like the cart slot and a power circuit and the right side of the controller, so i've got much of the portable done
If you run two wires together for power, it's the equivalent of 14 gauge wire. You can do that, and it should work.

I've never tried it, but it seems logical. It would double the amp limit, I would think.

I don't think that using two wires will make it the exact wire value of the value devided in half. Like two 30 guage wires would make 15 guage. I could be wrong too though. But yeah, it can't hurt to try it out, it just won't get enough power and won't turn on, but it won't fry or anything like that.

Well doubling up on 28 gauge wires does not make it 14 gauge...it's not a linear relationship like that. But doubling your wires would double your current capabilities, so if all you have is 28 gauge wire then running multiple power wires like that is definitely a good idea.
What I have shown you is reality. What you remember, that is the illusion.

ran into a bit of a problem with the PSone screen
i haven't ordered it, but i am having trouble finding an official PSone screen. the only ones i can find are either too much for me or comes with the whole system. i can get one of those portable zenith screens, though. the ones for xbox and ps2. are those basically the same? i am fairly new to ebay, so i don't know much about it. is there a way to order from other countries that use a different currency?

Paypal automatically converts it to their currency and sends it to them. I think there's a fee of like a dollar though. But be careful when buying from out of the country.
