Audio not working on GC motherboard....Why????

I just pulled out the unnecessary plugs on my GC motherboard and the sound is no longer working when I test it. Video is fine. I also scratched in groves around the jack next to the video/audio jack as guidelines to where i would cut since i didnt need tht on my motherboard. Is it possible tht something vital was near that jack??? Any help would be appreciated thx.

are the audio cables plugged in?

how deep where the grooves you cut? the might have cut something on a different layer of the board.

yes i checked the white, red, and yellow, there all in lol. i wish it was tht simple. I did cut deep into the board but it was around the unnecessary jack that is right next to the audio/video plug. (my terminology probably sucks but hopefully u get what I'm saying). I tried to reconnect some of the routes with solder but i still dont get any audio

What are you putting into the 12v line?

I havent modified any of the voltage lines. The power and audio/video plugs were all the same.

I got a little carried away last night and decided to chop off any entire section of the GC motherboard. I ruined the whole thing

but this was my "practice" gamecube so its all good. I still got 2 other ones to perform on

but I will post a picture of the motherboard pretty soon to show you guys what I did.

I would like to know which routes on the GC motherboard can be broken but still have the thing work....that would help tremendously with slimming down the width of it

I am already asking this question on another topic, but since its the same problem ill just repost it here (assuming thts legal).

My audio is yet again not working, this time on mobo #2. I have ripped out every unnecessary slot ***including memory slot B AND the slot next to the video/audio (I think the Analogue slot???)***

Before you tell me to check the 12v line, I haven't even touched the powerboard yet, so its a pretty simple problem. either an unknown short somewhere or I ripped something and now have to reconnect some pegs....Advice is always appreciated
