If you need a dock-to-RCA cable, I can confirm this one works as a LINE OUT, as it should:

The verdict is still out on the minijack ones that DealExtreme sells.

I finally received mine from DealExtreme today and confirmed that both act as a LINE OUT just like they're supposed to.



I will say that after trying this out in person, the nice thing about the one that palmertech made (and many of the ones on eBay) is the fact that this thing sticks out 1.5" from the bottom of the iPod and it ain't flexible. The one palmertech made looks a bit longer but the wire in-between the two pieces make it bendable, and that's a bonus.

And, as always, it's much cooler to make one yourself.

That being said, these will work just fine, but I may try to find one down the road that includes about 4" of wire and a male headphone plug at the other end, so it'll be clean and simple to plug into a pocket headphone amp.

He meant bad as in good. Bad used to be bad but bad isn't bad anymore, now bad is good; but good is still good. If good were bad, then there would be a paradox. Good=Bad=Good=Bad=Good=Bad=Good=Bad=Good forever. See my point. Paradoxes are bad. But I don't mean bad as in good, I mean bad as in bad. So, I don't think time-altering, hole-in-space-making, paradoxes are good. They AREN'T good. So, Palmer knows those songs are good, not bad. Again, that's not bad as in good. That's bad.
