what i really find horribly shocking is that he tried to sell that mess of tape, glue, and a perfectly good shoebox and some people actually wanted to buy it!

well it just wasn't right for people to think a cardboard n64 was cool! :x
i guess i did kinda screw up in directing all those noobs here, though.
well, maybe they won't post stupid questions like,"where do i buy batteries",what pins to i get video off of?"how do i unfry a n64( )" why won't my duct tape and hot glue portable work?""how do i order a pth08000 regulator for free"?"what pins do i put all of the power in?"i wired my batteries up to my portable, but when i tried to charge it, my batteries exploded. will my n64 still work?"i accidentally removed one of the black thingies on the n64 board, will it work without it??"i wanted to make my n64 smaller by cutting in half with a band saw, but now it doesn't work, so i used a whole lot of hot glue to put it back together. how do i make it work again?"i accidentally drilled a hole through my n64, can i use hot glue to fix it?"can i make a case using only hot glue and a mold?"
you know, maybe the mods should put a filter on topics with those questions...

Give him some credit at least, it may not look great, but hey, it's a portable. I runs on batteries and has a screen. It has av in and out ports. A lot of members here don't have a portable at all.

Anybody remember Tbone's awesome n64p? He removed the videos because I flamed him about it. It was an n64 in a box. With a screen plugged in

I saw that one. He had a giant screen on the box, it also had cardboard on the back to keep the hing from going all the way down. lol, it wasn't even a portable.

Eh, that comment about it "probably having all the heatsinks removed" is a bit much. Give him a least a little bit of credit, I am sure he is not that stupid, especially with a case that big.

And besides, he beats most of you! (Me, too).

Also, this is from 2007. How many N64 portables were there PERIOD back then? That thing looks to be about the same size as Ben's.

Bah, fair enough. You have to admit the standard has raised a lot in the past 9 months or so. :P

Agreed. I was gonna have a fairly decent portable compared to the existing ones, but now everybody is vaccuum forming, and my case looks like crap.
