NOAC question

I have a SJ3 NOAC. I know to disable the crappy on-board games i connect pin 30 to pin 31. maybe it's a dumb question but here goes: i was wondering could i put a switch in there to go between using my cartridge games or if i wanted to play something else maybe one of the on-board games? would it hurt the NOAC to switch back and forth ?
