Which Signal Type?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Which Signal Type?

I am making an n64 portable and wondering which signal type i should use. The screen takes composite or s video it would be nice to have rgb but i dont know how to input that to my screen.

I'd go for S-Video.

s video is supposed to be better, but i've heard composite video on the n64 is great quality. it makes no difference what signal you use. with the n64, there is very little difference

Someone (Mario?) added an S-Video port right to an N64 console and posted some comparison pics. The S-Video was far cleaner, but I'll be damned if I can find that topic. :?

I think i will go with s video but i would like to see the comparison pic. I have a couple other questions could some one send me harshboys full wiring diagram because it says im not authorized to view it :( :( :( . And does anyone have the pinout for the paks you put on the back of the controllers, im thinking of having a memory pak and trasfer pack and then having the power lines for the packs on a switch

If you're going to go with s-video, then great, it's got great quality. However, trying to find a screen with s-video input is going to be tough. The only one I can think of off the bat is the PAL psone screen.

I already got the screen and it does take s video :D. The project is pretty far along already and i hope to get it done this weekend
