Can I get some feedback?

Post by ghosstt »

Ok. So, I've recently been doing some singing (which im not all that good at), in combination with my guitar playing. I did two covers of songs on my tascam 4 track. (Analog ftw)

Heres one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vo_R36rujtY" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The other:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A55WpfD_ZKI" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I would be much appreciated if I could get some constructive criticism.(Rates and comments would be sweet too.) The quality is pretty crappy from the analog to mp3 process, but eh.

The singing is actually not that bad.
It just takes some practice.

All-in-all it was pretty good.

Oh yeah and one way to make your voice sound better is to sing louder.
For some reason it works.

Thanks. I'll try the singing louder thing. It would seem as if it would make you sound worse though.. :? but I'll try it. :P

I promise you, the louder you do your voice and the more you emphasize your voice, the better it sounds.

Believe me,
I'm a vocalist.

I'm assuming you mean during recording, not during the production part. (cause just increasing the volume of that track would be irritating)

What kind of music do you like? I've been thinking of doing a collab with some one. :D

I have been singing for years, I could do something if you made it easy to learn (Gave my the lyrics to sing and a reference person).

I like everything except for country.

It'd be awesome to do a collab :D !

But yeah, Don't turn the track louder, just sing louder.
