My Nintendo 64 Portable Worklog

Post by Rixer 1337 »

I am building a Nintendo 64 portable (obviously). I have done all of my research and I think I have everything pretty much figured out. All I have left to purchase is a psone screen and some parts from mouser.

As of right now I have my nintendo 64 and battery.

Batteries 7400mah at 7.2 volts:

I don't think that it is to big but I will have to find a way to incorporate it into the case so that it can easily be removed.

If you want to support this project then you will go over to my Shop and buy some cool games for a very low price!

why would you want to remove it? take the cells out, arrange them in your case, and wire the charger to a port on the side.

Well, I took apart the battery pack just now and noticed that all of the positive ends are soldered together by a power protection circuit and i don't want to desolder that and mess it up so I am just going to leave it in one pack and build my system around it. Kind of disappointing but I don't have the money to by another batter so I just have to stick with this one. Unless anybody wants to purchase it from me but I doubt it because I took it apart. If you did purchase it though it would come with a charger also so if you want to just make me an offer.

I guess you are right. I just need to grow some ______ and do it. I still need to get the screen and parts from Mouser so don't expect anything for a while out of this topic except a few questions are something.
