edit: i have a nes controller board with wire attached. it doesnt work, the d-pad triggers start somtimes, and the b and a buttons trigger start and than activate after start is pushed a second time. open to offers + shipping. i imagine that this wouldnt go for terribly high, so i will accept all offers.

You say the controller has a cord on it still? Do you have the case for it? I am interested because I need to make another s2nes adapter so I can play gyromite, as the only nes controller I have is the adapter I made. This controller seems like a good candidate for a cord salvaging.
