Ben has made an Atari 2600 Portable that can play Pong. Does that count?

Pong on a chip was the first 'OAC, most Pong consoles released after the Atari one are just a single chip and some switches. Should be dead simple to make one, if you so desire.

I've got Pong on my mp3 player. That's about as portable as you're gonna get.

Yeah, and I've got a Sega Genesis emulator on my PSP. Doesn't stop people from portabilizing, does it?

I'd like to see a portable "Pong" console, personally, even if only for the "whaaaaat?" factor.

fair enough. Although with the genesis, I'd argue the Nomad pretty much does away with the market for portablizing of genesis.

The original arcade had large and complicated circuit boards, however the home versions are based off single chip Pong circuits. The home consoles are only as large as they are to make them easier to play and to make them seem better (bigger = better was the thought at the time).
