I haven't been here in awhile, and looking back it's one of the worst ideas I ever had. I'm back and I'll be here for awhile, I was quite active 1 year ago and I hope to become that again.

I'm not into "chat" but I believe many are here. It could be used though as a quick "anyone know if" type questions.
I'm not promoting or endorsing this site below, so i'm not providing a link to it as it isn't relevant.
I am posting this however as it shows how easy and attractive this option is - people type stuff and press "Shout".

I too would like a chat feature for if you feel like chatting with other members. I talked for a while with eurddrue earlier today, and before I knew it, I had about 20 extra PMs in my inbox.

Somebody made a chatbox already, it was a simple greasemonkey script. It stopped working when the forums upgraded, though.
