Today I bought a model one genesis to go with my model 2.....But, I didn't realise that they have different power and audio/video ports. So what can I do now? How much will it be to get a power and a/v cable.

Well my FC twin power adapter fits and seems to work, are there any substitutions for a AV/RF out adapter?

You can use a Nintendo NES or SNES RF box with it. The only substitution for A/V that works, IIRC, is if you have a Commodore 64 to Y and C cable, just the plugs are in a different order.

What? We're talking about the Genesis, which many games specifically used the RF blurriness to blend new colors beyond the palette of the Genesis's video chip. What is with the attitude on this forum lately anyways? More and more this is crap, that is crap, and if you don't agree you're an idiot?

I've moved from RF, to A/V, to Component, to HDMI. While I wouldn't recommend Rf for a modern consoles, this is retro-gaming we're talking about.

I don't find any problems using rf for old consoles. In fact, it doesn't look much better using composite for something like the NES.

Nice work man. If you dont mind sharing what's the serial number of that Genesis? I've only ever seen them with silver and black were yours has red on the top.

It's modded for composite - it's possible the colors were aftermarket as well...
