The answer is right in the name of the file: Genesis 1. First revision.

The second is far, far smaller and even easier to find.

The third revision is smaller yet, not compatible with everything, and somewhat more difficult to find.

I got a scan of a board somewhere that I could mark up for you, but youre gonna end up wit a huge honking portable.

A genesis 1? have fun with a big huge clunky portable. Seriously, the mobo is almost as big as the case. It would be much easier to buy a genesis 2.

Look. Hes working with what hes got. Why does someone have to tell someone to buy new stuff everytime they have an idea? Yah its big but sometimes its cheaper and easier to stick with what you have.

I've bought rev. 2 Genesis consoles for as low as $4, and they're seriously everywhere! I see more of those at thrift stores than any console (other than original playstations).

Yes, but the size difference is HUGE and the price difference negligible. A rev. 1 would be too large for even a laptop-style portable.

thanks for mentioning that. I'll make sure I stop by a pawn shop today or tommorow if I go anywhere.
Ebay is not an option with these segas...the avg price on ebay is about $40. sheesh :? . when I could probably find one for $4

Hackmodford wrote:Use the Genesis 3 (only game that doesn't work is virtua console, has no stereo, and can't use cd addon but 32x works!) It's really small

If you want to get even smaller try grabbing one of the retro duo things with the genesis part ($40 bucks on ebay)

But I suppose the Genesis 2 is okay if you want if you compare price to size since they're like... everywhere
could you name someplaces where I could get one?
none of the pawn shops or anything like that have any where I live. I went to 4 today and had no luck at all
Themadhacker said Tibia had some but I want to see if there's other sites too

Don't think you'll be able to beat $5 plus shipping from Tibia...
