Forgive the noobish question: How to remove security screws?

See topic title,

I tried the pen trick however I either did it too fast or too slow and it didn't work is there another method?

Again I apologize for asking a noobish question, but help would be greatly appreciated.

PS: I have everything to start the N64p but I honestly don't want to wait for a gamebit.

when i took my n64 apart, i couldn't get the last screw out, so i ripped the damn thing apart.
that's about your best option here. the n64 is surrounded by heat sinking, so you really don't need to worry about ruining it.
an alternative method is using a dremel, but i've never tried that, and i don't have a dremel. i still need to get one, and if you don't have one, use all of the money you have to get one
you need a dremel for this kind of stuff!

They have some extra long bits that I was going to order from them. They have them in their stores, as well.
