(i'm posting this here and in the xbox 360 section since i'm not sure which of the two it should come under)
i've been searching high and low for this, a ps2 controller in the style of an xbox 360's, i've tried everywhere and everything, i've tried searching for simple controller converters but none seem to exist for this (but strangely they do for the reverse, to fit a ps2 controller into a 360's) and i've all but given up.
but i just stumbled upon this website and am stunned at the quality of the PS360 controller, this is exactly the sort of thing i've been looking for, only i need it for ps2 instead of ps3.
so, does anyone know if this has ever been created/attempted/planned by anyone on this website or indeed anywhere in the universe ever?
i've just ordered all the parts i need to attempt this myself, using the "how to" tutorial for the ps360 hoping it won't make that much difference been a ps2 controller, but lets just say i'm less than optimistic
any information would be appreciated

Re: PS260?
I think this is the correct spot to put it.
It should follow pretty closely with the PS360 instructions. I also think the 360 pad is a fine controller - I bought one before I had a 360, just for playing PC games.

After all, the dualshock 2 looks almost exactly the same as the dualshock 3.
You will probably encounter a problem with the fact that the xbox controllers have anologue trigger buttons, while the dualshock 2 doesn't.

Re: PS260?
Every button on the DualShock 2 controller, except for the 3 center buttons and the stick buttons, are Analog. The D-pad, face buttons, L1/2, R1/2 are all Analog buttons, so the reverse of that statement is true.
You'll loose the 'Pressure Sensitive' (Analog) feature of the buttons stuffing it into a 360 controller shell, possibly the Triggers as well since the PS2 controller has 17k pads and the POTs in the 360 controllers are 10k, but it's completely doable and a lot easier than stuffing a DS3 in there.
I'll have a go at it with an old Wired 360 shell when I get some time.

Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.
