You have two choices:

1. Camera flash. Dunno if it has enough oomph but it should work.
2. Ignition coil. If you can get it to work that is.

It has an electric sparker in it that's the exact same as a BBQ one just smaller that you could rip out.

I used to make little cannons with those, a film canister and pen.

use the igniter out of a cigarette lighter. works the same way as a BBQ one but is much smaller

I made an igniter out of some nichrome wire from a toaster, powered it with a car battery.

You gotta choose the length just right so it doesnt melt but gets orange-hot. I powered it with a car battery and an unnecessarily large breaker. Theres some lag on when it fires but the wires can be really long and theres no high voltage crap to deal with.
