Not yet, but look: Nintendo NEEDS to sell these. They have not done a marketing blitz, mainly because they have no exclusive content. Seen the DS commercials? They show off all the latest, best looking games.

I would wager cash dollars that E3 brings some epic DSi only titles. My bet list is, in order of likelihood:

A terrible pokemon spinoff game using the DSi camera (Pokemon Snap?)

F-Zero DS

A new Super Mario Bros game

Super Smash Bros DS

A GOOD pokemon game. Praying so hard for a remake of Gold, there is proof it will happen at some point on the DS or Wii, it all comes down to when.

I too have been thinking that they will make some of the better n64 games for the ds. SSB, OoT, MM, DK64, Starfox 64, BANJO KAZOOIE!!!!! and the other banjo kazooie game. Banjo Twooie?

It WILL happen. If you take a look at the D/P/P ROMs, and the Pokemon Battle Revolution ISO, they all have full location data for pokemon traded from the Johto region, which they would only do if they were doing a remake (That is how people knew about Emerald, Fire Red, and Leaf Green soon after Ruby and Saphire; The ROMs contained references to all of them, along with Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness.

In addition, there are SO many references and cameos in the DS games. Jasmine, the gym leader in Olivine (The city on the other side of the Eastern Sea in Sinnoh) makes multiple appearances, and you get "SecretPotion", the medicine from the Ampharos sidequest in Gold and Silver, from her.

Then you have the fact that the ship that carries you to the various islands has hidden pointers in the ROM that point to Vermillion and Olivine, and you have a surefire deal. If they just wanted to cover all the bases for ALL regions (Like Hoenn), then they would have made lilycove city data. No dice, though.

Also, Lance, the dragon master from G/S/C, gets some mentions, and the red gyrados from G/S/C gets not only mentions, but is part of the opening intro video in D/P, and there is a red Gyrados event in the code for D/P/P. This seems a lot like how the "Far away island" event where you get Mew, used only in Emerald, is also in R/S.

I could mention all the little other hints, but most are nothing more than mentions/cameos from Johto. I only listed the ones that are significant.

Come on, Nintendo! Make a Pokemon Ranger style graphics remake of G/S/C, using the awesome power of the DSi! Hmm... Then again, maybe the DSi can actually handle decent looking 3D. In theory, it beats the PSP, but gets to render at a lower res.

@Eurddrue: You can basically rule out remakes of those games, Nintendo would not take the massive time and effort needed when they can make MORE money by releasing the VC versions of those games on the wii.

In addition, Rare is owned by Microsoft now. None of the Banjo games will ever come to Nintendo consoles because of that, so give up on that hope now. :(

copulate!!!!! I've been silently praying, hoping... They were the first games I can remember playing, although my mom says it was some mario game. I know that there's the virtual system, but come on nintendo, remember the people who played those systems. :x ( I realize that they are targeting a younger audience because little kids=money from their parents.)

Most people of ages remembering those games are older people, who are more likely to spend $10 on an exact reproduction than $30-40 on a downgrade. If anything, the VC is made for the old people with CREDIT CARD INFO than games that any kid can buy with cash, or have their parent buy as an impulse purchase for their DS at the store.

After seeing SM64, I hoped for the same thing, buy by looking at Nintendo's current strategy, and how they make money, it is easy to see it will not be happening. :(

That said, I would rather have a NEW Zelda game for the DSi than a remake of OOT that looks EXACTLY the same. If OOT was remade, I want it on Wii, please.

wow Pokemon Gold brings back memories... I believe it was the first game I ever played. For my 5th bday I got a yellow GBC and pokemon gold ^.^ I never beat it though, so I'd love to see a remake of it and beat that. Come to think of it, I might even beat pokemon gold sometime.

The DSi needs a killer app, something that really uses the power. But most likely we will get gimmicky camera crap with maybe a few good titles buried for nobody to see.

What about Zel's Shiny Gold rom patch? It seems pretty good.

I have played all the way through that, I was the guy who helped him fix his glitchy forest tile sprite animation.

It is good, and very well done, but an official remake for DS would be off the charts awesome. Wifi battle tower? YEAH! :D

And he is too lazy to finish the final gym battle and Silver Cave. :(

I can't get it to run on my DS. :(

Seriously Nintendo needs to get their head out of their ass. The Wii is a piece of crap overclocked gamecube with 2 good games. Nintendo hasn't had 3rd party support since the N64, and the Nintendo exclusives aren't as good as they used to be. So they decide to go for a different market and copulate every gamer out there. Nintendo, you suck. You've sucked since the N64. That was the last great Nintendo. The Gamecube has it's moments, so does the Wii. But overall, fail.

And now the handheld is getting the same treatment. Wonderful. I've had a GBA as my first console, then upgraded to a DS. But my next handheld will be an XBOXP or a PSP2.

What card? Download GBATA, and fix the header, the patch damages the ROM so it will only work on emulators. It is a way to stop Chinese people from making mass fake copies of the game to sell on ebay, in real cart form.

All the ones on eBay are thus the old beta, which ends at Olivine city. :(

For reference I'm using an M3DS Real flashcart with M3 GBA pack. I'll try that technique.

Also the fake cart thing reminds me of the guy who bought a copy of Quartz in Thailand or somewhere like that. I thought he was joking (pokemon with swearing, no way) and found out it was a rom hack. Then I found ShinyGold.
