I'm finishing off a new Jamma supergun at the moment, but once that's done I'm thinking about trying to put together an Amiga tablet/portable using one of the new FPGA based Minimig boards (http://home.hetnet.nl/~weeren001/minimig.html).
Of course, the Amiga being a computer, rather than a console - ideally a keyboard is needed... so I'm on the lookout for tiny PS/2 compatible keyboards. Anyone know of any really tiny ones?

Found this one (http://usb.brando.com.hk/prod_detail.php?prod_id=00666), which is approx 17cm wide.
It doesn't look like it has any 'weird' bits, so I'm hoping it will work with a simple USB to PS/2 adapter.

Another option to consider is converting a keyboard intended for a PDA to PS/2 protocol using a microcontroller: http://jledger.proboards.com/index.cgi? ... hread=1647

Also, that page doesn't seem to mention the newer revision of the MiniMig that works on a newer FPGA prototype kit, and no longer requires an external 68000. If it has gotten ported to a newer FPGA than I last looked, you might be able to rig in USB host to the FPGA.

Aw crap.. I bought one, well it was only $25 anyway.
There's a few boards the Minimig core now runs on; the original v1.0 and v1.1 Minimig designed by Dennis van Weeren (FPGA + 68k) and produced by ACube, the Minimig ITX and Mini-Minimig (http://www.illuwatar.se/project_pages/m ... inimig.htm, again FPGA + 68k), the C-One (http://www.c64upgra.de/c-one/ FPGA only) and the Altera DE1 and DE2 development systems (FPGA only).
Apart from the Mini-minimig (which I think is still being developed) the Minimig 1.0/1.1 is the smallest design, checking out the Minimig.net forum it also seems to have a rather low power draw of 5v at ~150ma.
