a sega genesis 3-boutton controller making ?

i've been thinking about making a sega genesis controller myself

but i need info shematics and other stuff that can help me make one : )

note :i don't have anything to take photos or film a video >.>
so waiting for it may take a long time

Gamesx has a diagram for a genesis controller- good luck finding the chip though.

If you just want to make a three-button one, I don't believe you need a chip (unless you want one of those three-button ones that makes A, B, and C work like X, Y, and Z when you hold down Start). It's like an Atari 2600 controller, with one button/D-pad direction per pin, plus ground. If you could find a pinout, making a controller would be simple.

or images of a 3-boutton inside controller

by the way putting a led to detect if the controller is correctly plugged

so if i plug the wires to power and ground for the led this could fry the whole system
of the controller ?
