WTT/WTB: PSP/DS

Post by robm »

Threads like these end up coming across a bit spammy, so I apologize in advance.

I'm looking for at least one PSP or DS. My daughter's birthday is coming up here soon, and her Game Gear is... dated. And now non-working. The unit can be in any state of repair/disrepair, within reason. I'm not opposed to replacing a screen/button or stick, if necessary. I am preferring to do a trade, if someone's willing. Also willing to do part trade/part cash, if reasonable. Right off of the top of my head, I have these items for trade:

Electronics:
Two entirely bare N64 cases. No motherboard, no nothin. Bare.
Two phat PS1 systems, systems only.
Gamecube. Broken CD door; good portable candidate. Bare system.
Original SNES, bare system.
Very old laptop screen. Basically useless, but someone might want one. I'd estimate 10 inch.

Tools:
Off-brand rotary tool (like Dremel,) 10-position adjustable speed
Dremel-brand rotary tool with case, used all of once
Multitude of automotive air tools (most never used.) Air ratchet, impact, paint guns.

PS2 games:
GTA: San Andreas PS2
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy X-2
Final Fantasy XII

DVDs:
Still-wrapped Up-In-Smoke (Cheech and Chong movie)
Pi (Case is a little ragged, disc is near-perfect. Viewed once.)

I'll post more as they come to mind; will post pics upon request.

Her birthday is on May 21st; it's a little ways away yet, but I want to be well-prepared. She'll be eight already. Sheesh., how the time flies!

You gave her a game gear?

If it matters, you could probably buy a bricked psp on ebay.

@ShockSlayer: Eh, yeah, we went that route to make sure she could be responsible enough to not trash it. She loved it though!

@Goldenfranko: PM sent.

I have an original DS that just needs a new motherboard fix. It was working a day ago perfectly, until I accidentally blew the fuse I think. Everything else on it is perfect.

I have obtained a PSP, a silver slim 2001 for forty bucks. It was suspected to have a bad UMD drive; however,
upon inspection and a system reset, it works perfectly fine. Thanks for everyone who responded.

It had been dropped, at which point it would not read discs. I popped the tray, fiddled the laser assembly, reset
the system, and now it works.
