May I suggest in future that there are a couple of changes to competitions:

1) a minimum level of entries set; if not met, competition is null and void; although the entries can be carried over to a future one. Maybe set at 10 as minimum (not necessarily 10 different people but 10 different portables).

2) timelines longer - how about every 4 months or every 6 months, to include all portables made in the previous 4 or 6 months?

Silly after all having a contest with barely any entries!

how about jusst 3-4 decent portables as a limit, and we don't count portables like mine there has to be 7-10 portables, then everybody votes for the one they like best, then the top three go against each other? Although, that could be pretty time consuming and dragged out...
