Updating the Game Gear Screen
Alright I don't know if this has been asked before and no it's not the USUAL Game Gear question. It's clearly stated as a NO for use in anything but the Game Gear unless you have a GG Tuner. My question is indeed different. The screen on the GG is absolutely horrid, is there a modern screen that could be fitted into the original GG for a better look, and while I'm in there a way to improve the battery life and backlight? Has anyone wasted their time doing this? Any successes, dismal failures?
Think.

Re: Updating the Game Gear Screen
I guess it's possible to get RGB out of the Game Gear, so if you can hook it up to a screen that accepts RGB, you might be able to get a better picture. I doubt you'll be able to fit all this in the original case, however, so you may have to either modify the case or put it in another one altogether.

i forgot to post this in my above post, but you can also talk to tibia about improving battery life. she led modded her gg and got rid of some components that were for the original backlight only. it over tripled her battery life.
