What makes you happy?

Post by ValiantVenality »

Hello there. I have a question for you all. What makes all of you happy? What makes you fell good about yourself? Tell here! I found a book in my brothers old room, and its called The 100 Simple Secrets of Happy People. It got me thinking a lot. Here are some things that make me happy.

Music
Wrestling
Playing the Piano
Talking with my friends.

Those are just some things that make me happy! What are some of yours?

Different things at different times have different effects on one's happiness.

Sometimes solitude makes me happy. Getting away from society and contact, just letting yourself explore your mind for a while.

my entire life is a deep dark pit of despair

 NOT. working on portables, working on my car, being with my girlfriend, being with my friends, spending quality time with my parents and other family, and lots and lots of other things make me happy as well.

I just start thinking about god and I start smiling and laughing. no kidding, im serious

I'm contributing to the thread by saying what makes me happy not trying to start a religion war

Earthly things though.

Tech and hanging out with friends. And comedy, of course everyone likes comedy.

I've just been really happy in general lately. :D

God makes me happy too, but it's in more of an extremely insulting sacrilegious sort of way.

Physical social interaction with people I'm comfortable around. It's not an often thing, MGC was a good one. And the occational party with people from church.

I really enjoy looking over technical programs, namely reading the manuals. This also means if I can find a not dry-as-sand book on a programming language I will read it.

I also enjoy a lot making crafts out of parachute cord. Bracelets, lanyards, and other things.

There's a few other things, but it's kind of private. And not it's nothing sick or disgusting, just nothing I'd like to make public.

Writing (mostly novels)
Thinking about MGC (it just looked amazing)
Getting a new game
Hanging out with my friends
Sleeping
Daydreaming
I haven't been here in awhile, and looking back it's one of the worst ideas I ever had. I'm back and I'll be here for awhile, I was quite active 1 year ago and I hope to become that again.

sgtpepper has said a lot of the things that make me happy already, but I will add more for myself.

having projects work out.
hanging out with friends at my church's youth group.
playing old video games.
watching film classics
my pets
working on projects.
rest in peace, Ronnie James Dio! \m/
