Hey, guess what I just got home from. An ENTIRE SCHOOL INFECTED WITH THE VIRUS!
Meanwhile, my compy has had its ethernet cable unplugged and wireless card removed all day. Hardware > software!

No conficker on my computer or my dad's computer. My Wii has been acting up though.
Actually I don't even own a Wii.

Did a fresh reinstall of McAfee the other day and I've not noticed anything unusual. Sister's laptop seems fine, as does Mom's.

Pfft. I use Vista all day long and it works just as well as any other Windows OS I've used in the past; better, in some cases. 1GB RAM and speed is decent, and just about all of the problems present at the beginning have been fixed.

I was hoping the same would happen at my school, but I had no such luck, they keep them fairly clean and updated.
None of our computers have been affected.

When I was in grade school, we had one computer that was called 'the internet computer.' Yes, there was one computer in the whole school that could connect to the internet, and it was dialup.

You do understand that if Conficker is real and if the creator has at least an ounce of wit, you will notice infection when you next start Windows? Or at least, when you next connect to the internet. It all depends how strain C is developed (self-extracting vs. dynamic patching).
