Everybody at my school seems to have games on their calculator, or, at least know that you can put games on them.
Same. I see no reason why someone that goes to a normal high school/did within the last 5-10 years wouldn't know what a graphing calculator is.

ah yes, calculator games. You know they ported Wolfenstein 3d to the TI-83? There was also another raycastor game that was a bit better. had something to do with killing aliens.

But then I got a DAP with rockbox and moved on to full color, full speed Doom

That's funny, my physics teacher 4 years ago convinced the class that they made a new TI-84 that had color pixels 1/4 the size of the normal ones, and the processor inside could handle Doom.

That was exactly 4 years ago! It was an April Fools joke!

Tetris on a graphing calculator FTW. After quizes in my Calc 2 class I'll boot up my TI-89 Titanium and start playing it, it's a blast.

Well I do believe someone was working on porting Doom over to the Ti-83/84. don't know how far that got.

Alright I'll tell you something that just happened in my S.S class between another girl

Girl: "What religion to Muslims celebrate?"
Me: "What do you mean?"
Girl: "What holiday do they celebrate, Christmas or Channukah?"
Me: "Wait, you think there are only 2 religions in the world?"
Girl: "Yeah, I mean there's only two religions, Judiasm and Christianity."
Me: (Headdesk)

There is something wrong with the people in my town.
I haven't been here in awhile, and looking back it's one of the worst ideas I ever had. I'm back and I'll be here for awhile, I was quite active 1 year ago and I hope to become that again.

You ever tried typing on a computer on a site which is not allowed and could get suspeded with 3 teachers in the room?

Sorry, fast typing: Hanukkah.

I seriously need to learn to type better.

I'm not sure Satanism is a religion. I'm pretty sure that's more of a philosophy. And how could you forget Scientology?

I'm pretty sure that it can be spelled either way. But it's not really a big holiday. It is made out to be one mainly because of its proximity to Christmas.

When I show my portable to my friends, the #1 question is "How did you make the screen?"

Yes. There's no true translation for the Hebrew word for it; it's only interpreted.
