intec ps2 screen issues

I bought a intec ps2 screen at my flea market today and I plugged it in and it works, kindof... everything shows up on the screen and the sound comes out fine, but the picture on the screen is "WAVEY". Everything works fine except the picture on the screen, I tried a different cable and everything. Does anybody know what might be the problem? I plan to use this in a gamecube portable if I can fix it. Thanks for the help

It's an el cheapo screen that doesn't have good picture at all. You should get an official psone screen. Intec screens are karp. and not rekarp.

Hmmm... sounds like an interference issue. Or possibly a blown capacitor.

you could try placing a sheet of metal inbetween your system and your screen.

How much power is it getting? This sounds like what my screens do when they do not have enough power.

12v 500mA straight from the wall plug. The screen accepts 12v

It's a power issue. Nobody listens to me about these things.

Try putting in less voltage.

Okay just let me find a different wall plug and test it out. How does 11v sound?

You need more MA, not more/less volts, methinks. Screens draw a lot, 500ma is not much.

that's what I was thinking, but I couldn't confirm it. I'll try and find a plug with 1 amp
