Xbox 360 Controller Through Pc

hi,
Is it possible to connect a wired xbox 360 controller to your pc using a usb port,
then a usb cable from a different usb port to the xbox itself and control the xbox 360.
kinda like just using the pc as an controller extender.
I have heard of things like xim and xfps but there for keyboards and mouses, and i just need it for the controller itself so i wouldn't of thought it would be too hard.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

Yeah, you can do it.
You need to buy one of these though, or it won't work.

If you wrote a server program to capture the signals and transmit them to your friend's PC running a client program and send them through USB with the same kind of connection you have, probably.

Wouldn't it be hard to see the screen, though?

Yeah that is what i thought i would have to do.
so how would i go about getting it to work?
have you heard of anyone doing anything similar?
