Games we want on PSP and/or DS

Post by gamer2 »

I would like to see

SHENMUE ch. 1 Yokosuka on both the PSP and the DS
i dought it would happen
DS
-Has 2 screens like the Dreamcast (TV and VMU) so it could be like the dreamcast version
-The styleus could be used to aid in training like show the moves scroll and such
-If you get stuck you could tap on the Lower screen and it could bring up a part of the Passport called NOZOMI's MESSAGES where you get hints
to help
-Has A,B,X,Y like dreamcast in stead of the shape buttons

PSP
-Being disc based you could do more like add in Ch 2 which never surfaced on Dreamcast or XBOX
-bigger screen
-hold more save games than the DS
-has the stick so you can look at the area you are in while standing in one spot
-Bring more Shenmue fans on to buying the PSP and getting Yu Suzuki more money to put out Shenmue 3
-Sony would love it being RPG type game

i ain't bashing any thing

That will be interesting if Sega does make some games for the PSP or DS, condering they had a big line of their own portables.

I'd likely want something like GTA III.

Also I got to see a PSP in person its a neat little thing. Too bad you get stiffed with a lame movie and only 32mb memory stick.

I think it'd be pretty cool to have Phantasy Star Online for the DS. The extra screen would be great for the menu/map/keypad :)

That wouldnt be bad at all. Only thing is they'd have to cut down the graphics, and yes I kow that PSO wasnt the most spectacular when using graphics its just the DS is 64bit and the original PSO is 128. Oh I'm sure if Nintedo wanted it badly Sega could do it after all Sonic Team has perhaps some of the best game programmers in the world.

Wow! Cool finds, Lucretius.
I think we need a smash bros for DS.
There was an old PSone game called Team Buddies, its actually pretty good. IF they ported something like that game with wireless multiplayer, that would be cool.
Don't know what the basic game is like? Its like RTS + lots of shooting and umm.... I don't know. If you want to find a copy, good luck. Its pretty rare.

A DS analogue stick could work, the GBA port can be used as an accessories port and they could find a way to put it over where you thumb would reach.

What about a cartridge / hardware accessory for the DS that would let you use it as a functional PDA? Or a color camera/printer kit?

I say someone should hack the RF capability in the DS and make a TV tuner/AV input like the prate stuff and the GG TV Tuner.

As for games, I'd like to see the original Grandia ported to the PSP, and FFVII on both (with updated graphics and a possible alternate(Hey, Aeris isn't dead!) ending, attainable by giving medicine to the sick Sephy clone in Midgar.

This post is brought to you be SLAX LiveCD with KDE GUI. ^^
Warranty-Voiding fun!

Truer words were never spoken ^^

But a PDA function, in my humble opinion, should have come with the package. So much of the DS's os already resembles Plam OS...

I would love a good Mortal Kombat game on the PSP. Not on the DS though, that would suck.

Maybe it was written under Windows CE then.

Besides I say SonicTeam is one of the best, as PhantasyStarOnline is one of the (if not the) best online RPG.
