The joystick is not making good contact. When my psp had the joystick removed, I went to play medal of honor, and I kept moving to the left with no way to prevent it.

do you know how to fix the problem or can you link me to a guide to do it myself? That way if this doesn't sell I can repair it in my free time.

well, When I put an analog back into my psp, the same thing happened. I just needed to tighten the connection. try twisting the screws tighter.

I think the best fix would be to install a standard joystick. Ben's article on engadget would be a good start.
While you're at it (whomever buys it, I mean), you should move it where the d-pad is. Move the d-pad south.
