I wouldn't recommend doing a project out of Ben's book (I didn't) but I do recommend reading it, and like others/other has said. Look for the similarities. You'll get the hang out of it. And Like I tell my friends that think I'm a genius, "If you can hook up your VCR to your TV, you can do this."

I would definatly recommend the NOAC route. Do not do a Gamecube (the disc drive causes loads of problems especially for beginners)

Look on Ebay for a PSOne Screen, some weird Nintendo Clone console (maybe a retro duo then you also get a SNES!)

Have you ever done vector drawing on a computer? Try googling "inkscape". You can use this to design your case and send it to your local sign shop, or trophy shop, and they'll cut it out of engraving plastic and stuff. Read Ben's book for furthur explanation...

Wow, thanks. I will look for one of those, like the FC twin... but I can't use mine, so I'll try and find another one, also if those NOAC things are so cheap I might try those.
