The Super Nintendo is 100% incompatible with the NES. The SNES is 16 bit, the NES is 8 bit. If you want an original NES (or the original top loading "NES 2"), I sell them.
Congratulations, now more people think that that is the reason they are incompatible! Hurray!
I probably should have made it clear that that wasn't the reason, but that is a reason that the NES won't play SNES games. The cart connector is your biggest problem.

It is possible.

The NES and SNES use a modified controller protocol, and with a pretty simple circuit, you could make an adapter to route the video signals and controller input froman SGB to an NES (Keep in mind, the SGB is a full gameboy in a cart, it just offloads display and control to the SNES.

But yeah, hammer is right. Within reason, and your skillz, no. Buy an FC Twin. :mrgreen:
