Synthesizers!

I've always wanted to get a nice portable synth before I go to college, and last Friday, I finally got one! I decided to get the MicroKORG for a number of different reasons: battery power, vocoder, price, features, and most importantly, the KORG brand name! I absolutely love it, I cannot recommend it enough!

In addition to the MicroKORG, I needed something to do rudimentary drum loops, so I got the KORG DS-10 Synthesizer for the DS. It's a steal at $30, seeing as it is basically a MS-10, but with more features. Both of these combined make for an awesome "one man band" setup.

So are any of you guys into synths? I saw a couple mentions in the other music thread, but I thought it would be nice to have a synth-specific thread!

*I'm going to eventually build a mounting system for the DS, using the Vocoder mount that already exists. Should be pretty awesome whenever I stop procrastinating...

That's pretty sweet! ...I do a lotta one man banding...but it's with guitars and things. Gots me Korg tuner for my guitars tho!

I don't use a synth per-say
I just take a USB keyboard, run it through Garageband, and lay some effects over it.
