Modder's Checklist

Post by DJ711 »

So this is like my third tool thread? Anyway, after raising enough money to get tools for my projects, I've decided to buy tools this week to start on my N64p. Anyway these are the tools I thought of

Soldering Iron (20/30 watt, pencil tip)
Dremel (with tips)
Solder (found a pound spool of solder on amazon)
Flux
Handy Helper
Xacto Knives
Gamebit Screwdriver set

Am I forgetting something?
I haven't been here in awhile, and looking back it's one of the worst ideas I ever had. I'm back and I'll be here for awhile, I was quite active 1 year ago and I hope to become that again.

Hot glue is the best invention ever, but I assume you already have one. If you don't though, get that.

If you have no pants, where would you keep your pencils?

Video Games are the greatest creation in my opinion, so is writing. But you guys wanna stop hi-jacking my thread?

Staying on topic is underrated....

You might want to get some desoldering braid or a desoldering bulb (or both).

Erm.... no?

You'd keep pencils in your pocket protector of your business-casual shirt you wear to school, of course.

Now you see, I know I'm a complete noob because I have no clue what that is. You mean a desoldering iron?

don't forget a wire stripper, and you'll be surprise how often a phillips screwdriver will help when your opening things.
