There's anti-people for everything out there. Even anti-reproduction.

I still stand by that G/S/C is the best.

Yellow is the best. Having Pikachu follow you is awesome, plus you can get all the starter pokemon without trading.
G/S/C are good because they're like 2 games in one, first you have Johto (sp?) region, and then you can play Kanto. They even kept the number of pokemon reasonable. With the newer games, there are way too many pokemon for me to care to learn them all, so I just stick with the old ones.

Yellow was awesome. Its in its own little category in the realm of pokemon games. Damn pikachu and his refusal to use a thunderstone made me trade a mew to a stranger so I could get an evolvable pikachu.

was there even anything special about Crystal that G/S didn't have?

The pokemon sprites are animated. They look ugly as sin compared to the most of the G/S sprites, in my opinion. You can also choose to be male or female, the battle tower is added, and there are a couple added subplots. My brother had Crystal, but I never really played it.

I loved the battle tower. It really stretched the life of the game, those battle tower pokemon STILL pwn me after 10 rounds or so.

Crystal is by far my favorite. I even put a blue LED in it so it lights up.

I own crystal and it's pretty good. Undecided on the best one. Haven't really played FR/LG.
