Didn't Kevin Horton use a Gamegear screen with some sort of transverter?

I don't know about anyone else, but I actually liked the game gear. Not that it had the best selection of games, but games like super columns or NBA Jam T.E. were cool.
Who else would I be?

Yeah, and don't forget G-Loc and Sonic! :)

I remember playing Addams Family for it, I liked it, only time I played it.

And Kevin Horton used a Nomad (genesis).

Not so much fly off as 'poof' out of exsistence. That's what paradoxes do!

I liked the Sega Nomad better. Think about it: full-color, 16 bit portable gaming in 1995!!! The Game Boy would not be color for 3 years! If it weren't for the crappy screen, it would be paradise.

I personally loved both the Gamegear and the Nomad :).........obviously the Nomad was fun 'cause it had all my favorite Genesis games to play on the go :), although there were some great games for Gamegear as well :).....like Power Rangers...yes, power Rangers :P. It was a great game that I grew up with and I still love playing it today :).....unfortunately, both my gamegear AND my nomad are screwed up, so I'm gonna reportablize the Nomad and buy a new Gamegear :).
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

What about the Atari Lynx? That thing was full color gaming goodness, in 1989, no less!

I never was much of an Atari gamer, so I always stuck to the Sega handhelds and Genesis (goes along with the Nomad, of course ;)), the Nintendo consoles (NES+SNES, though not much NES), and of course the Gameboy in my early gaming days :).....although now that I'm a much more, er, "refined" gamer :P, I'd like to give the Lynx a try :)....

You could always get a dead one, gut it, and use the case for a GOAC portable...

I owned a GameGear and loved it, esspecally when I got the TV tuner (it made the bus toloerable). If it were possible to get a clear and clean video signal out of it you could make a really easy SMSp.

Also the GameGear had someting the GameBoy didnt, that was it was capable of playing the SMS games on it with a simple Sega produced adapter. Nintedo ported their games, all you had to do with the GameGear was get the MasterGear and your favorite game.
