It's kinda odd, my parents care nothing about my girlfriends or how much I'm gone. But other things like pokemon and yugioh they flip crap

lol in the 90s my mom was one of the people that thought that pokemon and any game with something like monster fighting, alien shooting, or any minor violence was the devil's work. I mean, wtf? Did Satan invent videogames? I don't think so. Eventually she did understand that games are just games, and started letting me buy mortal kombat and stuff like that.

yep, I remember my mom reading something like that. She didn't believe the stuff was the occult, or that harryy potter promoted witchcraft, but she just thought violence was promoting bad behavior or children, and that that "is what satan wants". I can't believe how people thought that magic the gathering, pokemon, and D&D were part of the occult.

Oh, and arrow and I went to a catholic school from 1st to eighth grade. Pokemon cards were banned there, but not because of those crazy beliefs, but because they were getting stolen and kids kept secretly playing under thier desks during class.

they didn't ban pokemon because it was so bad, just because stuff was getting stolen and kids were being distracted by it at a catholic school

yeah, I'm surprised my principle didn't buy into the lies. But those cards did cause a lot of fights. It's just a good reason that they banned them for an actual sensible reason.
