Atari or colecovision?
Well Im probably going to be getting one of these consoles(I could just get the exp module for the C.V) and Im wondering, what would be better? Are colecovision games hard to find? Are there very many? Could the system just die? I wouldnt want to build a collection for a system and then not be able to get another if anything happened.
Opinions!
Thanks

i personally think that the atari is more fun, but thats just me
go with what you want. if it breaks and you still love it, you will replace it. if it never breaks, but you hate the thing, then its worthless

Re: Atari or colecovision?
I would get atari 7800, as it plays atari 2600 and 7800 games. Don't ge a 5200 though, they are very very big and most of the games for it are already on the 2600.
rest in peace, Ronnie James Dio! \m/
Re: Atari or colecovision?
Hmm yeah I was thinking 7800, Any idea how much they would go for?

$20-$40. Depends really. Definatly get 2600 controllers for the 2600 games tho. the 7800 controllers suck imo. I got my last couple for free due to trades and the like.

Go for all of them.
I've got a 7800, a 2600, and a Colecovision. If I find a cheap/free 5200, I'd go for that, too. lol

DO what I did; go get a Sega Genesis controller and use it instead. It works perfectly.Rekarp wrote:$20-$40. Depends really. Definatly get 2600 controllers for the 2600 games tho. the 7800 controllers suck imo. I got my last couple for free due to trades and the like.

Hmmm found this in the local classifieds:
ATARI, 2600 with 35 games two joysticks, and two controllers for pong $40.

Re: Atari or colecovision?
I'd go for it. You'd probably pay around $25-$40 shipped for one on e-bay with just joysticks.

I suppose the price breakdown is the same here in the US. I'd say do it. Maybe you might score some uncommon games.
