Pokemon Platinum is tomorrow for the US

I hate it how they do pretty much a complete reboot every generation. I want an edition that lets me start at palet town and lets me explore all 4 regions (Hoenn, Sinnoh, Johto, Kanto). And for crying out loud, make the game world bigger! Towns are disproportionately small!

And why the heck aren't there any roads!


By the way, I egg on like this about just about everything I sorta like but has flaws.

I like how they cover their asses to make sure they can make these forever.

Hundreds of pokemon have been discovered, but with new species becoming apparent all the time, there could be hundred, even thousands of yet to be seen Pokemon!

496 is hard enough. Thousands?

Oh, and I liked the 3rd gen. The plot was stupid, but since when have pokemon games had a good plot?

I only like the first two generations of pokemon. I like first better though, since red blue (and green) had misingno, but for some reason was taken out in yellow.

I remember in either the first season of the anime or the first movie, it said that there were only 150 pokemon. But now there are more and more that nintendo keeps spitting out, just like palmer said. I mean if the games go on for another ten years, nobody with a life can cach all of them ( actually it's getting that way now). I mean heck, I only know the first 151 (152 with misigno) pokemon from the original games.

missingno. was a glitch (maybe it stood for Missing Number?). its not like they decided to remove a pokemon from the game, they just fixed an unstable glitch.

I know it was a glitch, I just didn't like the fact that it was removed from yellow. Actually, now that I think about it, the glkitch WAS in yellow, but you had to find it a different way, and you couldn't use it to multiply items.

Missingno=Missing Number. If you use several different incorrect memory value, you will get it.

I used just about every trick with that glitch when I was in the seventh grade. I spent weeks doing crazy stuff (getting a thousand masterballs/rare candy, ect. ) I used it to catch up to 148 pokemon, including mew. Then, I stuck the game in my gameshark, and the first thing it sain when I turned on the game was "File has been corrupted". That really sucked as i spent an entire summer wasting away at that game!

Too bad you did not know that the pokemon games actually have your last two games in the save. If you had, you could have used your gameshark to dump the save file, then reflash with a filler one.
