LED MOD(I know its an old topic)

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

I wish I someone had pics of the inside of the screen. I know there's the led mod guide by ben but there aren't many pics, I would feel better if I knew what's inside and what the bulb looks like so I know what to remove.

It's not much, but it's all I have.

The reason nobody has pictures is to minimize opened time, to minimize any trapped dust or debris.

That's what you'll see after removing the LCD and diffusing material.

If the white columns are getting in the way, you're not using 3mm LEDs.

The bulb is routed through the channel on the outside. You can't mistake it for anything else.

Go with the flow. They go in the only way they fit.
