Does anyone know the pinout to U10 on the mini SNES? You know, the one that says S-MIX on it. I'm not getting even the faintest signal out of pins 11 and 12 on the normal output (probably pulled a contact, though it would affect both I don't know), but there are a couple of audio signals coming out of U10, I just don't know if it's L+R, L-R, left and right separate, or what, and I don't have an O-scope to check.
Edit: Going by sound, pins 3 and 12 seem to output acceptable audio, though they're not the same signal. For example, in Mega Man X, the tank with the spiked, rolling-pin-arm gives the area a low frequency noise, but that noise is not heard on pin 12. Could that be L-R?

No idea; I'm not getting an output from the L or R audio outputs of U6, though my batteries just died on me, so testing will have to wait. However, this might also mean that it was just low power cutting into the audio functions...maybe?

Re: SNESmini audio chip
It's possible, and likely.
Don't quote me on this (I've never had it happen, personally), but at a certain voltage either video or audio drops out, and the other still runs. Someone did a test on this a while back. I wouldn't be surprised if charging your batteries and using U6 would fix it.

Naw, power's back up but U6 is still down. Although I did pull off the 7805 and tap power from the PS1 screen (the 7805 closer to where the backlight inverter was). Do you know if the SNES needs power on its own 7805 input?

Re: SNESmini audio chip
Hook up +5V to the +7.5Vin Line on the old 7805 spot. It's weird like that. (ie with 5 volts going into the snes, short the in/out on the 7805)

Re: SNESmini audio chip
Awesome, thanks. Yeah, I found out the audio data must have been coming though from the apu, but not making it through due to one of the other chips nearer the rear of the board not having power. So yeah, like you said. Thanks again!
