Submitting a website to google.
Should I just make a thread for my website, maybe?
What's the best way to get my site into search engines? Right now when i type "kurt.ws" in quotes all I get is people going on mis-spelled rants about kurt cobain and how he "ws" this or "ws" that.

And put links up on sties that are indexed by google. Even having it listed as your website in your forum profile could get you google listed.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for.
As far as meta tags, no need for code, Wordpress handles them automatically.
The website's up and running now,for those interested, minus content.

I am always wary of sites with ".ws" frankly, as they often are ones that contain malicious code.

Yeah, I figured. WS is the domain for Western Samoa. No malicious code on mine, though!
Admit it, it's cool for me to have Kurt.anything. For $20 and a year it beats the crap out of kurt.info for the same price, or $500 for a buyout of kurt.ca

No reason you can't have a .com too, although you might need to be a little inventive with your domain name to find an available .com address - it isn't always easy!

I'm still not on google. What are ways I can improve my chances of getting on search engines?
