My first MGC - what should I bring that I may otherwise forget? I'm grabbing the obvious things like portables and my digital camera. What's easy to forget that you'll want when you get there?

I'm not allow to bring tools ON the plane either, but I'm putting them in carry-on. :P I have a soldering iron, hot glue, wires, solder, cutters, etc. This should be fun... :P

When is everyone heading that way? Also, (I know, very short notice) is there anyone going even close to south central Iowa that could give me a ride?

Wally I can bring some heatsinks, TO-220 type right? I have some I haven't used lately.

I also have 4 remaining PS3 GHIII guitars leftover from that project I did last May. Those will be free as well.

Time to start packing!

Yup, packing my things today, leaving for MGC tomorrow. I'll be arriving at the Olympia around 8-10 PM Saturday, if all goes as planned. I'll be bringing my CMVS for sure now, some guys at the Neo-geo.com forums have expressed interest in seeing it, and I can also show my custom controllers that way too. Count me in for sure on Sunday.

I'll bring my tools if you like, I have a nice 30 watt weller iron and all kinds of tools, and since I'm driving it's all cool. But I am at the Olympia, so you can use 'em at the booth. I'll be getting in late on Saturday and at the show for Sunday only.

Make sure you guys take (and post!) lots of pictures for those of us who can't make it! (Please?)

Video would be nice, too. Maybe another MGC video podcast?
