I could come by around noon-ish to show off a couple of my custom Neo Geo controllers, which is the only working project stuff I have been messing with at this time. I will bring my CMVS only is I know for sure that Nick's MVS won't support my controllers. Right now I am also thinking of bringing KOF94, Metal Slug 1, Last Blade, and maybe Samurai Shodown 2 and Puzzle Bobble.

EDIT: noonish on Sunday. I won't be there on Saturday. :(

I will sadly not be able to go due to lack of funds. I'm terribly sorry John, Skyler, and Brian!

For those looking into staying at the suite,

I'm looking at changing arrangements to a room and a suite, rather than 2 suites. We might be a bit cozier with each other (not to the point that people are sleeping on top of people... that'd be creepy and uncomfortable :P ) but it'd bring the cost down to the ~$30 neighborhood, rather than ~$40. Any thoughts?

are they conjoined?
I could really care less since I've got my own room anyways.

No, the suites in that hotel are in their own separate nook area. I'll see if we can get the room near that part of the hotel, at least.

I'm running out of time to do it, and the others that I talked with agreed about it. Changing...

As long as there's enough room to snooze comfortably, I'm OK with whatever goes down.

I will be arriving on Saturday around noon and I will be there until 6 or so. If you still have open spot by the end of assigning everything, I could sit down for a while. I'll probably be hanging around the booth the whole time anyway cause I'm planning on not spending much (Damn you economy! Oh yeah, I don't have a job O.o). Very very excited to meet some of you, strike that, all of you. Oh, and yeah I have this 9" portable DVD player with A/V in that I would be more than happy to let you guys use, just as long as I don't see the innards

I finished another Darksiders 360 laptop yesterday so I'll definitely be bringing that, but probably only "wheel it out" on Sunday, to give more value to Sunday.

I have the new Genesis game collection disc and have been playing it A LOT so I'll probably bring that as an "ironic" demo game. I also may bring my SNES and Starfox since it's one of my all-time favs.

Controller monitor has a weird bug, so this morning I'm going to swap out the PCB for a different one. Assuming that works, I'll have that at the show for the thing I'm personally modding.

Finally, if we solder at the booth they asked we use a drop cloth of some kind. Anyone have any ideas? Perhaps a big crappy rug, or a swath of old carpet?

Dan Loosen gave me the OK to do "FREE CRAP" giveaways.

Not to be confused with me just wanting to get rid of a bunch of stuff by any means (ha!) the plan is I'm boxing up all sorts of stuff I have no use for (ok it is!) and will give it away at the show. Forum members, guests, whoever can just take it.

The better stuff might be soldering contest prizes (assuming we actually come up with a plan for that). Maybe we could buy some NOAC's and use those?

Anyway, stuff includes:

Tons of Xbox 360 fans.
Tons of rumble motors
Other DC fans
Tons of Xbox 360 video component cables
A couple Xbox 360 cases
Lots of VGA cables
PC speakers (amps removed)
Lots of Atari 2600 board parts useful for refurbing
"And Much, Much More"

I'll definitely be picking up some of that. Just to help you get rid of it of course

EDIT: dibs called on 1 xbox video cable, 1 case, 1 PS3 Guitar Hero controller and some of the "Much, Much More"

I'll rock-paper-scissors (or NBA Jam) anyone for one of the XBox 360 cases!

One of the cables for 360 would be nice, too - want to make that VGA adapter...
