Alternative n64 Screen

Post by Petch »

Just wondering whether this screen (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000 ... d_i=468294) would work with my n64 portable. i'd rather use a psone screen but they're hard to find in the uk for under £70

Thanks

It should work, but it'll be huge.

Ya, it just looks kind of big, since it needs a whole carrying bag to carry it.
Also, could you figure out how big it is? I could give you better judgement on that. I doubt it has good screen quality, though, and it'll probably suck down batteries, kind of like the intec screen.

Would you like a professional looking custom case for your portable? I may be able to help you. Check out this link:

Screen is crap. These are the ones Kyo got some of us to buy as he said the insides were the same as the PSone ones, which was wrong. If you were lucky you got an alternative screen which might be the right one, if you got the one in the advert you get a crap screen.

Don't waste your money on these; official PSone screens come up often on e-bay in the UK, get a proper one - most days actually there is at least one listed.

Kyo posted how crap the screen's image is; I couldn't even get a good composite picture via its composite plug (only takes composite). Avoid.
